I need to update my blog for the 3 people who I know look at my blog...Lu, Stacy and April!! :) Lu and Stacy keep telling me to update...so maybe I have other followers...and if so...Aloha!! :)

Life has been busy, busy busy!! My mom and dad came to visit a couple of weeks ago(that was a blast but it was junk weather the whole time)...Andi and Ti came with Noah last week(it was fun to play with them)...I finally had a day in the sun on Monday(with Lu and Hia), and Edwin is still the best and funniest husband ever!!

Zyon LOVES singing...that is all he does. He dictates what we listen to in the car...and he tells me what songs to sing when I am putting him to sleep. If I sing a song he doesn't want to hear, he shakes his head and says no, no, no until I stop!! He is so much fun!!

Trip to Vegas and Utah

There is a lot to catch up on but I am going to make it quick. I went to Vegas with Aunty Jah and Zyon for my annual ISPA Conference...it was a blast. We also got to spend some good times with the Richtie family...they are the bomb!! We stayed at the Plazzo (a new tower at the Venetian) and we had a beautiful room. Did some quick shopping and our 4 days there flew by!!

Then we headed to Utah to visit the families. It was so nice to be with everyone and see all our nephews and neices getting so big. My dad had his last chemo treatment the day before Thanksgiving...yeah no more green recliners!! :) And this was my first Thanksgiving with my family in 8 years! I got to see my Grandpa Blanch...that I rarely see, my Grandma Farrell, my Uncle Troy and we got to meet Simba...the newest addition to our family! Hope you enjoy the pics!!

Zyon had a lot of fun going Trick or Treating for his first time!! Zyon was a monkey and so I thought I would stick with the jungle theme and I was a zebra (a recycled costume from a work party earlier this year!) And Daddy...well...uhhhmmmm...I guess he was....well...we wanted him to be a lion...but he didn't want to join in on the fun!! :(

Zyon always needs to be entertained when he gets his diaper changed...he has to have a toy in his hand or we have to sing the ABC's...one day he grabbed the bottle of baby powder to play with and I am usually very good about closiing the lid but I guess I forgot so when he grabbed it, squeezed it and it went all over his face!!! It was pretty funny!!!

Hi...

I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything so I thought I would update everyone!! We can't find the charger to the camera so I cannot post any new photos!

Zy is getting so big. He is saying and doing all kinds of funny things! He is such a joy. He has been sick for the last week but he is finally getting better. He also (before he got sick) finally started sleeping 11-12 hours in his own bed throughout the night! What a relief!

He went to nursery 3 weeks ago...we just went in for a minute to help Nini get in there because she loves Zyon so we thought maybe if he went in she would not be so upset about going to nursery. The leaders then told me I could leave him...I was like oh he isn't old enought yet, he is only 14 month...they told me it was okay! So I left him and I peeked in and checked on him in between classes and he was still holding the same toy that I left him with and was sitting on the chair as the leaders attempted to get the rest of the kids over to the circle. When I went to pick him up they told me I could bring him back because he was so good!! What a big boy...it was so nice to actually enjoy church and not run around the building for 3 hours!

We have been super busy with Edwin's school, his new calling in the singles ward and work. Things have been good but we are really looking forward to our vaction to visit our family!!

I will try and post some new pictures this weekend when we get a new charger.

McLeods and Vassallo Visit

We have had a lot of visitors in the last couple of weeks...I didn't get any pictures of Bobby and Mo (you guys need to send me some!)...but our last visitors were the McLeods and Vassallo's who were dropping Jeff off for school here at BYUH!! It was a lot of fun to spend some time with them!

London did not want anything to do with Zyon...it was Zyon's first rejection...he was so dramatic...it was the first time someone didn't make a fuss over him and want to play with him. He would burst out in tears if London just looked at him the wrong way!! As you can see in the beach picture...he was dying to play with her!! :) We did manage to bribe her and Lexie with ice cream to get a cute picture of the 3 of them!!

It was fun for Melissa and I to catch up and remember the good old days of when we used to play barbies ALL the time!!!

Okay...so my sister reminded me that I forgot to claify why I am wearing an LA Lakers shirt...

Yes, Edwin purchased the shirt for me because he really wants me to be a fan...I totally am not!!! This was the night that LA lost after having a 24 piont lead at one point of the game! I knew he and Kris would be really upset so I pretended that I didn't know the score and I said I was just trying to support my husband on his birthday!! :) I was doing it just to mock them and I was like "what they didn't win?" :) They were so upset that night!! I am not an LA Lakers Fan....I never will be...GOOOOO CELTICS....

E's Bday and Father's Day

It was Edwin's birthday on the 13th and then his 1st Father's Day today! He had a big weekend and we had a lot fun and we enjoyed spoinling him!! He got and ipod and some new church clothes! We also got to go out for dinner and a movie...something we haven't done in awhile! (Thanks Jahna for babysitting!) We went saw Kung Fu Panda...it was funny totally reccommend it!

Hi Family and Friends!

All is well in the Leuluai family! We have been super busy with work and school. Edwin just finished his winter semester...had a week break and now is taking English and History in his 6 week Spring Term! Things are going really well for me at work...we have been busy and there are a lot of exciting things happening at the spa!

Below is a picture of us and Sky and then Edwin, Zy and our Las Vegas boys...the Richy's! Sky just got his mission call to Japan...to the left is our one of our fabulous babysitters Justin (he is so good with Zyon) and to the right is Tyrone (the next Fiji...he's a really good singer)...oh so is Sky of course!!! That is all they do...Edwin makes the beats and boys record songs...so Zy and I would get kicked out of the house so there would be no noise!!! hahaha!! We miss you guys!!!

Zyon is 9 months now and oh what a stinker he is!! He is so much fun and loves to make people laugh...he has this contagious laugh!! He has 6 teeth coming in up top! Well his left front tooth came in first and Edwin told him he looked like a hill billy now he has 5 others that are catching up...including the right front tooth!! :) He is into everything!! He races to whatever he knows he isn't supposed to get into! He is so sweet and has exibited some sepearation anxiety these last 2 weeks! We love having Zyon in our family!!

Eli told him that he has to learn how to walk before he is 10 months! Eli walked at 10 months and 1 day and his little brother Noah walked at 10 months. So he told me that I have to make sure that Zyon beats Noah!! We will see what happens!!

His doctor keeps asking him when he is going to grow some hair!! He might take after me and not really grow any until he is 2!! Edwin doesn't want to hear that!!! :)

Easter Sunday

Hi All...Hope everyone had a happy Easter Sunday! We enjoyed our day. My mom sent us a really nice Easter package...as always she does way too much!! We went to church and then we went to Easter Brunch at Turtle Bay and had some yummy food! Edwin was upset because he thinks that buffets are over rated. He said we all this good food but we can only eat so much...then you want to knock out and take a nap and when you wake up you want more of the yummy food and you can't have it anymore!! :) It was nice though and then we took one of the golf carts and went on a Sunday cruise through the beautiful ocean view golf courses at Turtle Bay. It was a nice day. We sure did miss our families though!

So on Thursday Zyon decided that he knows how to crawl and clap for himself! It is so cute and he did it like he's known how to do the whole time he was just holding back!! He also pulls himself up on furniture! He is so cute. I have a really junk camera right now and it takes too long to capture the pictures so I never get his cheeseball smiles in action! I am working on it though! Other then our excitement of watching Zyon grow I am super busy with work and Edwin is winding down in the Winter semester (he graduates in December 2009...I can see light at the end of the tunnel)!! Busy with Life

Hi family and friends...my sister Stacy was scolding me the other day over the phone for not updating my blog enough! Life is busy with work a baby and a student husband! By the end of the day I will check my email see if any of you posted anything cool on your blogs and then I fall asleep watching Hannah Montana or That's So Raven. Zyon and I had colds at the beginning of the week...we are getting better now. Zy's two bottom teeth have broke through...so he is finally sleeping throug the night again (he didn't for about 2-3 weeks)! It is so hard to function properly at work when you just can't get a good nights sleep at home. He goes to bed very well between 7:30 and 8:30pm but I don't ever get to bed until 10 at the earliest...there are always things that need to get done around the house and I do like to spend some quality time with my husband when he is not busy studying or playing basketball or tennis!! So that is my reasoning for being a slacker on posting on a regular basis...I wish I had more time to update you on what baby Z is doing now!! I don't know if you can see his teeth...but they are there!!

Well...yesterday morning Zyon woke up at 6am and I put him in bed with me to nurse...so I could just rest for just a few more minutes...then I got up to get ready for work. I woke up Edwin and told him to watch Zyon cuz I was getting ready. Z was awake and just talking and playing by himself. I saw that Edwin was holding his arm so I wasn't worried. I was done getting ready and I told Edwin to get up so he could take me to work. I walked into the kitchen and I heard a noise...I don't even remember what the noise even sounded like...I ran into the bedroom and yelled Edwin's name as I saw my baby's feet kicking the air on the side of the bed!! I ran over to him as Edwin was grabing his legs to bring him back up and he was doing a little head stand on the side of our bed. Luckily our bed is just on the floor...so not too far down...and he rolled off right where I have a basket of all our blankets so I think that brok his fall a little bit. He was crying and Edwin was trying to calm him down...I was so freaked out...those of you who know what a worry wart I am can only imagine!! :) I grabbed him from Edwin and he stopped crying...oh the power of a mother's touch!! :) He is fine but I think it was a good thing I had to go to work that morning because I thought everything in the book was wrong with him...just because I am a paranoia drama princess like that!!

The only thing that got hurt during the whole ordeal is my left middle toe!! I don't even know how...I can only guess that when I heard a noise in the bedroom I turned really quickly and rolled my toes??? But here is my war wound!! I know I will get some funny comments about putting a picture of my injured toe on my blog...but I think it is funny!! Try wearing high heels with a swollen purple middle toe!!

Doing Big Thangs

Zyon has taken the crawling stance...he just hasn't moved yet!!

I love when he sucks in his bottom lip like this...so cute!

Zyon loves to stand up and he thinks he is big stuff when he does!! He can't be his own for long but he sure does love to do it!!

We went to a BBQ last night at a co-worker's house and discovered that Zyon is afraid of big dogs. I don't know what kind of dog it was but he was about 2-3 feet tall and when he would just look at Zyon he would make this really funny scream and start crying! Of course Edwin was so upset because he loves big dogs and insists that if I get a dog like fudge that we have to get a big dog for him. But I hate big dogs...and big dogs shed! So Edwin was trying to get Zyon to overcome his fear...he was very unsuccessful!! And protective mama came and took him away from big mean daddy!! But that scared scream he made for the first time was pretty funny!! Even if I was holding him and the dog walked by and looked at Zyon he would scream and get upset...funny baby!!

This morning he slept in until like 9:30...which was nice for me on my day off...but then he was up for about 5 hours and I had to deal with the biggest fit he has ever thrown yet!! He screamed at the top of his lungs for about 15 minutes straight. He wouldn't go to sleep....he wouldn't even nurse. Usually if he is upset I can walk outside with him and he'll calm down so I took him outside to go find Edwin who was washing the car and that didn't even calm him down and I couldn't find Edwin...so I was so embarassed because he probably woke up like 10 babies in our complex while I was walking around with him. I finally got him to calm down when I gave him some of my water from my water bottle. Then I got out his cold teething ring and he went to town on it for about 10 mintues. I was trying to look at this mouth and I think his gums are looking swollen where his two bottom teeth will come in at...so maybe we will have two teeth soon! I don't know but I am hoping that he takes a 3 hour nap this afternoon...it has already been an hour!

Our baby Z is getting very big. We had his 6 month check up on Monday and he weighs 17lb 6oz and he is 27 inches long. He is running in the 50 and 60th percentile for his age and is very proportionate!

He is so fun right now because he just loves to play...it is great because he is on a regular schedule and he sleeps through the night and takes great naps during the day.

He ate carrorts for the first time tonight. That was his first vegetable. He did good...he didn't eat too much and he only gaged a few times!! :)

He is sitting up by himself but his getting frusterated because he wants to move around but can't quite figure that out yet! He is funny...we love laughing at him and he is such a little cuddle muffin!

Half Birthday

Zyon turned 6 months old on January 29th. We gave him rice cereal for the 1st time. He did not love his first experience with his rice cereal!! He did better the second time around!! I know he looks really scary and the picture is blury...but I will see if I can get the video on here because that was hilarious!
